There are five islands in Harbor Beach: Mercedes, Lucille, Laguna and Laguna Terrace, Del Lago, Isla Bahia and Isla Bahia Terrace. All have very wide, deep canals for very deep draft yacht dockage. These islands were developed in the 1950s and 1960s — later than the Las Olas and Rio Vista Isles. They are gated and sometimes guarded and are home to some of the most luxurious residences in Fort Lauderdale. With quick, easy, and unrestricted access to the ocean for yachtsmen, as well as being a mere 15 minutes to the Fort Lauderdale International Airport and 30 minutes to all the exciting night life of Miami’s South Beach, and let’s not forget 10 minutes to Fort Lauderdale’s own Galleria and Las Olas. This community is close to everything and in a quiet, peaceful setting.
A resident here also can join the Surf Club with its 300′ of white sand beach and entertaining pavilion.
The islands of Harbor Beach have some of the most elegantly beautiful homes and eye appealing winding streets, great water views and fine dining, shopping and entertainment. The Harborage, the epitome of elite living, has only 14 homeowners on their own private gated, guarded island is accessed by bridge from The Harbor Beach Isles.
What a great place to live!
